Wessex Searches embarked on a digital transformation journey with the goal of consolidating and automating their internal business processes. The initiative aimed to replace fragmented legacy tools—including in-house applications, XML-based web services, and Microsoft BizTalk—with a unified, cloud-based architecture powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365.

    Following the successful modelling phase, Veriland led the full-cycle implementation, including:

    • Dynamics 365 Commerce: Utilised for external customer interactions, product ordering, and seamless e-commerce capabilities for both B2C and B2B scenarios.

    • Finance & Operations: Enabled automation of core business processes such as invoicing, partner settlement, reporting, and product lifecycle management.

    • Custom Integration Framework: Legacy XML-based integrations were replaced with robust, scalable APIs and real-time messaging using Veriland’s native integration technology, removing dependency on BizTalk and reducing support overheads.

    • Guest Checkout & API Gateways: Built-in capabilities now allow users to access mapping tools and order search products without mandatory account creation—dramatically improving user experience and conversion rates.
