Overview

MaxWAM (Maximum Work and Asset Management) is Veriland's ISV product for mobile-first asset management. Designed for organisations that manage physical assets in the field — facilities, infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, and property.

Core capabilities include work order management, planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, asset tracking, inventory, and AI-powered assistance. MaxWAM is fully offline-capable: field workers can complete inspections, log work orders, and capture photos without connectivity. Data syncs automatically when back online.

MaxWAM integrates natively with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Finance & Operations for financial posting, inventory management, and reporting. Available on iOS, Android, and web.

How It Works

1. Receive

Work orders are created manually, generated from maintenance schedules, or raised by field workers on the app.

2. Assign

Work orders assigned to technicians based on skills, location, and availability. Push notifications alert the technician.

3. Execute

Technician completes the work on the mobile app: logs time, materials, photos, and notes. AI assistant available for troubleshooting.

4. Complete

Work order completed and signed off. Data syncs to D365 for financial posting, inventory adjustment, and reporting.

5. Analyse

Dashboards show asset health, maintenance costs, technician productivity, and compliance status.

Built for the Field — Offline First

MaxWAM is designed for environments where connectivity is unreliable: construction sites, remote facilities, underground utilities, and rural properties. The app downloads all assigned work orders, asset data, and inspection templates to the device.

Field workers can complete all tasks offline: log work, capture photos, complete inspections, and issue parts. When connectivity is restored, data syncs automatically with conflict resolution. No data is lost, and no re-entry is required.

AI-Powered Assistance

  • Fault Diagnosis — Describe a fault in natural language; the AI suggests probable causes and repair steps based on asset history and manufacturer guidance.
  • Remaining Useful Life (RUL) — Combines IoT sensor telemetry with ML models to predict how long each asset can continue operating safely. RUL is displayed in the application and used to trigger condition-based work orders automatically.
  • Maintenance Recommendations — AI analyses asset condition data, usage patterns, and failure history to recommend optimal maintenance schedules.
  • Natural Language Search — Search asset history, work orders, and documentation using natural language queries.
  • Photo Analysis — Upload photos of faults or damage; AI identifies potential issues and suggests next steps.

All AI features run on Azure AI services within the customer's tenant for data privacy.

Integration with Dynamics 365

MaxWAM integrates bi-directionally with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Finance & Operations — but the role it plays differs depending on which platform you're on.

For Business Central Customers

Business Central does not include native asset management or work order capabilities. MaxWAM fills that gap entirely — providing the asset register, work order lifecycle, planned maintenance schedules, inspections, and inventory management that BC lacks out of the box. For BC customers, MaxWAM is the asset management system.

For Finance & Operations Customers

D365 Finance & Operations includes Asset Management as a native module, but MaxWAM extends it with capabilities that F&O does not provide out of the box — most notably Remaining Useful Life (RUL) tracking. MaxWAM integrates IoT sensor data and ML-driven anomaly detection to calculate and display RUL directly inside the application, allowing maintenance planners to schedule work orders based on predicted asset condition rather than fixed calendar intervals. This transforms F&O's asset management from time-based to condition-based.
